1080 Punch Ups
Interactive video facade projection on the 33-meter wide punch card
building IBM headquarter in the 70′s.
1080 PUNCHUPS happened at the 100th anniversary celebration of the Futurism movement (event in Los Angeles).
Interaction description:
the system detects movements, speed and positions of the visitors to combine words on the facade. The words are retrieved from a database made out of the 700 words of Futurist Manifesto published in 1909 on Le Figaro.

The narrative is articulated around two acts, an interactive one and a static one.
The second act is a trompe d’oeil created around the architectural projection mapping of the facade.
The computer vision system is based on fluXsensi developed at Mediars
